non registration of SHIS at ICD Customs,Ahmedabad

25 March 2011 We have imported machinery & submitted SHIS to Customs,ICD,Abad for registration.Facing problem in using SHIS as they say scheme is not implemented & is not available in EDI 1.5ver & there is no scheme code & no prov to clear d same in EDI. Also says no machine is being cleared under SHIS from any port of India.10 licences are on hold at jnpt.
pls help

26 March 2011 The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has notified the procedures for claiming the duty credits under the Status Holder Incentive Scheme (SHIS). He has also issued a Policy Circular clarifying listing of supporting manufacturers in the duty credit scrips.

for facing the problem in registration :-

please approach to the deputy commissioner provide them a request for manually in custom of the above said licence.

if you found any discrepancy please tell me .

26 March 2011 Had approached DC n requested for manual filing of BE. he says not possible as ther is no prov to debit SHIS manually w/o getting the SHIS register online in 1.5ver.
Also told us to get Scheme code added for SHIS from Delhi NIC. Also asked us to confirm if any import took place under SHIS from any other port in india, so that they can take up the matter with NIC delhi why ICD Abad is left. Spoke to EDI System incharge, he informed that he has written end number of email on SHIS to NIC delhi, didn't receive any response. He says there is no software made for SHIS hence no scheme code implemented.
