21 March 2011 hi i want to know about procedures to be followed to export of software and documents to be submitted to the concerned authority?

22 March 2011 AFTER GETTING IEC CODE, OPEN A EEFC ACCOUNT AFTER IT ,GET REGISTERED (RCMC) FROM ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER SOFTWARE EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL.

RCMC stands for Registration-cum-Membership Certificate. Any person applying for

Licence/Certificate/Permission to Import / Export.

Any other benefit or concession under the Foreign Trade Policy shall be required to get the RCMC granted by the Competent Authority. Competent Authority for Electronic Goods, Computer Software / Services and ITES is ESC.

Through the Market Development Assistance Scheme (MDA) , a financial assistance package offered by Government of India through the Ministry of Commerce & Industry for exporting community in India , the Council assists members to display their business strengths abroad and increase India 's share in the global trade.

Under the MDA scheme, the Indian exporter community is reimbursed a lump sum amount, which they incur in connection with the overseas market development. Activities under the MDA Scheme include Participation in Trade Fair / Exhibitions and Publicity through printed material. The Council has organized several activities, under the scheme and assisted a large number of exporters including SMEs to augment their exports.

The Council disburses very high subsidies to the member participants for participating in several events under the council's banner.

Actually without IEC CODE of a company can not get any business.

before export documents authenticated by THE COUNCILS / STPI(IF STPI UNIT)AND SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTS IN AUTHORITY.
