Private Bonded Warehouse Licence

Dear Sir,

I am working as accountant in STP unit, (100% EOU0 bangalore,

We have obtained the Letter of Permission from STPI for renewal of PBWL in September 2007 and the same has to be submitted to customs for renewal they give the validity up to 31/12/2008.

Now we have to apply for licence renewal to customs dept, whether we have to take a permission for no objection from STPI ?

or

We can directly apply for licence renewal to Customs dept with the Letter of Permission issued by STPI to us in last year ( noramally LOP is valid for next Five years fron the 5/9/2007) ?

Pl. advice me.

Thanks & Regards,

epcg licence

We are manufacturers. We have units in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
I have doubt regarding EPCG lic., for our units in Maharashtra we have applied EPCG Lic. from Mumbai / Pune DGFT, now my doubt is for our new unit which is going to start within 25-30days, can we apply the IEC/EPCG Lic. from Hyderabad DGFT itself, if yes, what is the procedure.

We are an STPI organisation. 100 % involved in software export activity. Now, we want to diversify into some domestic activity also. so part of the office needs to be de-bonded. Till now we are covered u/s 10B of IT Act, 1961. What would be the overall impact on us so far as taxation is concerned? & ALSO, whether being an STPI organisation whether we are allowed to operate other than from a Custom Bonded Warehouse?

Reply urgent.
