Sms from department

14 December 2025 I have rec'd sms from the dept stating there is mismatch between itr filed and Data with the department asking me to file revised return or give feedback on the AIS - but there is no email though the sms says so. The income tax website also does not show any details . Can some one help. The itr filed is as per the AIS only . I already have received 143 1 intimation and the website says it as assessed

14 December 2025 Check the AIS data as on the date, it might have been revised after your ITR filing.
If no change, then no need to worry.

14 December 2025 Ignore the sms???? No action from my side???does the sms contents in any way reflect in the it website???

14 December 2025 First confirm that there is no addition to AIS data after filing of your ITR....
Or the filed ITR is in consistent to present AIS data...
If yes, no need to worry...

It may not reflect in your e-filing profile, if there is no defective notice..

15 December 2025 Under e proceedings, it had asked me to provide feedback on tds and sft transactions of AIS which I did. ( Presumably as per the sms) But it excluded capital gains and property transactions. Though I rec'd 143(1) intimation accepting wat I had filed, why this confirmation again ( that too for dividend and interest rec'd) and wats the need to revise the return wen everything is tallied.

15 December 2025 If both the data are tallied, no question arises to revise the return.
