A company is registered in Hyderabad - A.P. It wants to make export from Delhi.

Whether this is allowed? and is there any procedures needs to be done to make such export?

How to calculate A.V.?
Example:
Invoice Value euro 1800
CIF Cost euro 130

1 Euro = INR 62.95

CUSTOMS DUTY 23.8948%

Kindly let me know what will be the A.V. amount to be appear at Bill of Entry?

IMPORT PROCEDURE

Hello,
One of my friend wants to import GPS device from China for the purpose of resale in India. Please tell me what procedure he have to follow and which forms etc he have to fill ?
The product fall under category 8526 91 90 of custom tariff.
Please tell me the full procedure to be done.

Pls. solve below the customs sum

Sunflower Ltd., imported a machine from USA by air for its factory in Silvasa.
The FOB value of the machine is $ 20,000. Other expenses incurred were as
follows :

i. Freight from USA to India $ 4,500.

ii. Insurance premium is not shown/available in the invoice.

iii. Transportation charges from “Indian airport” to “Silvasa factory” is
Rs. 12,500.

Basic customs duty 20%; Additional Customs duty u/s 3(1) 16%; Education cess 2% and Secondary and Higher Education cess 1%.

Compute : Assessable value and Customs duty payable; asuming an Exchange
Rate of $1 = Rs. 48.

The assessee paid SAD 4% on imported toys during APR - Oct 2010. i heard the SAD reclaimable facility withdrawn since March 2010. is it so? or the assessee are eligible to claim the refund? plz provide circular

Respected Sir/Madam,
I wish to start buisness of Importing Memory cards from china & sell it to retails shops in India directly. I m only Individual & dont have any proprietory firm.I have made some purchase query to wholesellers in CHINA & they say dat u dont have to any import duties etc. but i dont think they r correct.
