29 January 2011 Hello,
One of my friend wants to import GPS device from China for the purpose of resale in India. Please tell me what procedure he have to follow and which forms etc he have to fill ?
The product fall under category 8526 91 90 of custom tariff.
Please tell me the full procedure to be done.

BCD:-7.5%, ACD 4%, CVD:10% CESS:-0.56% AND TOTAL DUTY 23.895%
HOWEVER , IMPORT OF GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS) RECEIVER IS FREE(CUSTOM TARIFF-2010-11)
