Can u pls. tell me whether SEBI is bringing any proposal for internal audit activities to be carried out by Statutory auditors in stead of internal audit employees in an organisation.If so,

i)what is the ramification of such proposal.

ii)When it is going to be effective.

iii)What will happen to existing internal audit department staffs,qualified as well as unqualified.

iv)Will the existing permanent IA employees loose their jobs in the organisation

hello sir,
can i use any costing technique while doing the statutory audit of a factory of a FMCG company?

Whether Tax audit report can be issued in case where statutory audit is not conducted and statutory audit report is not issued because of non accptance of accounts by BOD. If yes then tax audit report should be in Form 3CA or 3CB. Please reply ASAP.

UPTO SEPTEMBER THE PERSONIS SALARIED EMPLOYEE AND FROM SEPTEMBER ONWARDS HE STARTED HISOWN PRACTICE.AND HE IS ELIGIBLE FOR TAX AUDIT. SO,
1.SHOULD WE PREPARE THE BALANCE SHEET FROM 1ST APRIL ONWARDS OR FROM 1ST SEPT.WHEN HE STARTED HIS PRACTICE.
2.IN 3CD ANNEXURE II IS IT NECESSARY TO FILL UP THE PRECEEDING YEARS FIGURE AS TAX AUDIT IS APPLICABLE FROM THIS YEAR.

A company has been registered in December 2008 and the business was not started in the FY 2008-09. Do they require to file audited books of accounts with CLB for the FY 2008-09 or they can extend the first financial year upto 31st March 2010 and file the books for the entire period. How do they go ahead in second case with IT Act. Do they reuire to file nil return for the AY 2009-10?

Dear sirs,
I am working in a public sector organisation and recently looking after R & D library. Basically Iam an engineer and we are getting news papers and periodicals for a few executinves. Our finance dept is asking disposal action and revenue generation for old papers and periodicals. Plese clarify the following doubts:

1. Whether news papers received for R & D executives is capital item.

2. Any revenue generation is sxpected from these items.

3. Our expense for these items is roughly rupees two thousan per month.

4. Is it required to dispose off every year or we can fix some periodicity?

THEY ARE CAPITALISING THE AMOUNT RECEIVED AS CORPUS FUND.
