Dear sirs,
I am working in a public sector organisation and recently looking after R & D library. Basically Iam an engineer and we are getting news papers and periodicals for a few executinves. Our finance dept is asking disposal action and revenue generation for old papers and periodicals. Plese clarify the following doubts:

1. Whether news papers received for R & D executives is capital item.

2. Any revenue generation is sxpected from these items.

3. Our expense for these items is roughly rupees two thousan per month.

4. Is it required to dispose off every year or we can fix some periodicity?

An individual carrying on business in 2 different name. The Turnover of both business is less than 40 lakhs but in aggregate the turnover exceeds 40 lakhs. Whether the individual is required to go for audit of both the business?

I HAVE BEEN APPOINTED AS TAX AUDITOR OF PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY AND THE STATUTORY AUDITOR OTHER THAN ME BUT THE ANNUAL AUDIT UNDER COMPANY ACT 1956 IS NOT CONDUCTED YET. WHETER I WILL HAVE ANY DIFICULTY IN COMPLETING TAX AUDIT U/S 44AB OF INCOME TAX ACT 1961.IN SHORT EVEN THERE IS NO ANNUALAUDIT IS CONDUCTED CAN I COMPLETE TAX AUDIT?

I'v encountered a strange problem in tally.erp9. The opening stock is Rs664.71. There is no inward or outward afterwards yet closing stock shows Rs664.61. Can you suggest what the problem can be? We maintain proper inventory books in tally & do not enter values of opening & closing stock directly through inventory info. in this case.

as per the companies act when a company wants to change the address within the city change of registered office should be intimated within the stipulated time.
i would like to know what is the time limit and suppose the same is not intimated to ROC what would be the duty of the auditor to disclose

IN AN PVT LTD COMPANY , IF THE AGM IS NOT HELD ,DUE TO SOME REASONS & COULDNOT FILE ANNUAL RETURNS , & NOW COMPANY WANT TO REMOVE THE PREVIOUS AUDITOR & PREVIOUS AUDITORS RIGHTS AS AN AUDITOR CONTINUE , UNTILL AGM IS HELD , FURTHUR , IF, PREVIOUS AUDITOR REFUSES TO GIVE NOC (BACK DATED) & AGREES TO GIVE NOC AT CURRENT DATE , WHAT IS THE SOLUTION FOR THE BOARD & THE NEW AUDITOR PROPOSED TO BE APPOINTED ?
