i am doing an audit of a Company which is subsidiary of Company in USA.The holding company in USA requires the report of auditors for the period (Jan-dec) for the purpose of consolidation.The subsidiary company has financial year of april-march

Therefore i want to know which SA/SRS/SRE is applicable to subsidiary in india for reporting and auditing purposes.

My client had filed statutory audit return for the AY 11-12 through a from Kerala, and now there we have detected some advances, and other payments left out for the relevant asst year 11-12.this was detected while filing the return for AY 12-13. Now do is it safe to file a revised audit return ? at this stage, and please suggest me as to what has to be done in this case as our clients wants us to incorporate the correct details as left out in the last return. Do we file a revised return and file Form 3cb now.? or what has to done kindly advise on the same.

As per the revised Companies Cost Accounting standard rules 2011 maintenance of costing records is made mandatory for the Construction Companies... now my query is that is it necessary for the Construction Company to appointment a cost auditor or is it sufficient if it file compliance certificate for the fy 2012-13....

please clarify me in this regard...

we have taken opening balances of cash & bank bal. from last yr. It is an educational institution. and we have checked all the ledgers and cash book and JV also.. but we couldn't find any error. there is still a difference of some rs.66000 in the trial balance.. what could be the possible reason. reply as soon as possible. urgent
