What to do if a wrong balance sheet is scanned and uploaded in tax audit A.Y. 2014-15. Audit report is correctly uploaded but only balance sheet is wrongly uploaded. Is there any method to rectify it?

Hello to all Learned friends,
Is it necessary for a practicing CA. to communicate with other practicing CA for taking up work of returns which was previously done by other CA.
Please note question asked is regarding taking up work of return like VAT,Income tax etc & not for taking up audit under respective acts. In case of Audit it is mandatory to communicate with previous auditor whether same principle apply to returns too?
