A company is selling lignite to its customers and also charging transportation cost from them. and the transportation cost is inclusive in total rates agreed between the parties by a contract. both selling and buyer company are government companies.
then on what amount royalty will be levied??
inclusive of transportation cost or exclusive of transportation cost???

THE ASSESSEE PARTNERSHIP FIRM IS REGISTERED IN MAHARASHTRA WITH A CAPITAL OF RS. 10 LAKHS. IT HAD A MINOR AS A PARTNER. THIS MINOR PARTNER HAS NOW BECOME A MAJOR. MY QUESTIONS ARE :-

Our company appointed two semi qualified CAs on contract basis, so we r deducting tds as per sec194j. as they r working on contract basis pfs r not applicable for them.
My doubt is, is there any chance to deduct pf from their remuneration and proportion amnt will be paid by us to pf.

We are a private limited company. We generally make cheque payment of TDS in SBI. Recently when we sent our person to SBI for TDS payment through cheque. We were informed that TDS payment will be done only through net banking. Can anyone tells us whether we can pay TDS through Cheque since our directors are not comfortable with net banking.
