One my friend has set up a Coaching classess for CA student (for CPT & IPC). He has invited me to join as faculty. I hold full tme COP. whether i have to get permission from ICAI.

I gave IPCC group 2 and this was my first attempt ........ I scored Adv. Acc.- 50 Audit - 55 IT - 37 I referred SM PM For Accounts......and paper was good too.....but did lots of cancellation in it....... For Audit and IT...I referred my classes notes.....Now I dont know where I lacked......... Now I need to know the reference books for these subject .....so as to more efforts into my studies and get excellent marks.....

In financial statement, what we have to consider 'Balance as per Pass Book' or 'Balance as per Cash Book'

I m really confused whether to appear for both groups of ipcc or not. .i hve just cleared cpt with 159 marks some r advising me to appear in group 1 only..so that I get enough time to focus on my concepts. .while some to appear in both groups. .as it has many benefits like good training nd better future scope..what to do

A person retired on 31/10/2013. He was on loss of pay from 01/05/2012 till his date of retirement. The salary drawn by him on 30/04/2012 was 50000/-. If he had attended office, he would have drawn a salary of 55000/- on his date of retirement i.e.31/10/2013. Please clarify which salary should be taken as last drawn salary for calculation of gratuity. Please provide case laws if any, in this regard

I GOT A COMPANY AUDIT BUT THE POSITION IS AS BELOW.

1. THE AUDIT FOR FY 2011-2012 COMPLETED.
2. THE IT RETURN AND ROC RETURNS HAVE BEEN FILED ALONG WITH FORM 23B OF AUDITOR.
3. BUT AFTER THAT THE CLIENT WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE OLD AUDITOR AND HAS APPROACHED US FOR FY 2012-2013 FINALISATION AND FILING.
4. NOW THE POSITION IS THE OLD AUDITOR WILL NOT DO THE WORK.ALREADY IT IS DELAYED BOTH FROM IT ANGLE AND CO.ACT.

KINDLY ADVISE HOW TO SOLVE THIS SITUATION.

THE ALTERNATIVES WITH ME ARE.

1. REQUESTING THE AUDITOR TO COMPLETE THE AUDIT FOR FY 2012-2013 ALSO AND LET WE OCCUPY FOR FY 2013-14 ONWARDS.

2. TAKING THE RESIGNATION FROM OLD AUDITOR WITH BACK DATE. CONVENING EGM WITH BACK DATE AND APPOINTING OURSELVES AND COMPLETE THE AUDIT. BUT THE IT IS ALREADY DELAYED, CAN WE TAKE A BACK DATED RESIGNATION LETTER AND CONVENE EGM WITH BACK DATE AND FILE TO ROC WITH LATE FEES AND CONTINUE THE AUDIT ?
