During an audit i found that the company is not collecting forms of sales tax like as C/H/F in haryana.Company is listed in stock exchange and have a division in bahalgarh haryana. When i checked the sales ledger of bahalgarh division i found that there is huge sale against C form and company did stock transfer to it's delhi division but company did not collect forms with in year. When i asked them they said that we collect forms when service tax department ask for that even we did not collect forms for FY 2006-07.In my opinion they should collect it with in three months. But i am confuse about haryana sales tax rules is the rules for haryana differ about this. Please guide me about this and also suggest if company have sale of rs 1000000 against C forms then what is the panelty and interest if there is any.

Accounting-cum-IT package

My friend who is a salaried person with Mutual Fund dealings is in need of a package which combines accounting for the individual alongwith ITR.The source of input would be the Bank Statements and the reports required would be Balance-sheet,Capital A/c,Receipts & Payments statement,Computation of taxable income and any other reports that an ITO would typically demand during a scrutiny assessment. Is there any such package? Is it freely downloadable? If not, what would be the cost? From where can he procure the same?[Note:He is not a Commerce graduate and hence would require a simple and user-friendly software].Many thanks for a prompt response and help.

About clubbing of assets

hello everyone
My query is regarding clubbing provisions under wealth tax act.
my question is:-
Suppose a husband transfers gold to his wife without adequate consideration and his wife pledges gold and purchases motor car from such loan.It is clear that gold will be clubbed with the assets of husband and motor car will be included in the assets of wife. But what about deduction of this loan?
As per my understanding i think this loan will also be considered as debt for husband but it cannot be deducted from his wealth as debt is taken for purchasing motor car which is not included in the net wealth of husband.(as per wordings of section 2(m) that debts to be deducted for debts incurred in relation to the assets included in net weath).
please suggest me treatment of the debt in this case)
