AND ALSO TELL ME ABOUT CASH RESERVE RATIO(CRR)

If a practising chartered accountant is a full time practising chartered accountant with a partnership firm and has not taken an individual/ proprietorship firm name; can he sign a certificate in an individual name without using the name of the partnership firm.

Dear,
I signed a Balance Sheet in 1996 on behalf of a firm without being inducted as partner. It was purely on trust because I had done my article ship there. Firm never took me as partner.
Company went in liquidation and a as signatory of Balance sheet i was summoned by high court. Case is still going on.
Though due diligence in audit was there and only mistake was signing of Balance Sheet.
What remedy/relief i can ask for. Any legal case decided in favor of CA in such situation.
Kindly help.

Shares of an Indian Company has been transferred by resident to a non resident Indian (NRI)and to a Person of Indian Origin (PIO). The funds has been received through foreign accounts in the account of transferor.

Will this to be treated as FDI ?

Do we need to file the Form FC-TRS in this case ??

I was going through one Financial Planning Journal and one query is answer there which i have some doubt.. Please clarify.

"his client took an insurance policy from LIC during 2009-10 with Rs. 8,00,000 Sum Assured and Rs. 1,00,000 Premium pa. He has been getting 80C deduction and he was eligible to take the complete advantage of the premium paid i.e. Rs. 1,00,000, but now his concern which is post Finance Bill 2012, he will not be able to take the complete deduction..."

Clarification by Expert : Claiming deduction of Rs. 1,00,000, till AY 2012-13 is fine as 20% of Rs. 8,00,000 works out to Rs. 1,60,000. However, as per the Finance Bill 2012, for AY 2013-14, the client may only claim a maximum amount of Rs. 80,000 (i.e. 10% of Rs. 8,00,000) in respect to insurance premium.
