Does IAS are applicable for Nov. 2015 exams or we have to study old Accounting Standards?

One company expended huge money for making of a Advertisement Film for its newly introduced product , which can be broadcasted on TV for 2 years, However the benefit from the Ad can not be presumed.
Should this expenditure be Written off completely in the year of Making of the film, or should it be deferred for two years.

Please provide the reference to Accounting Standard or Rules or Act or Guidance Note for support.

i have have an excel sheet in which there are different column like serial no, name , phone no, and address . i want to segregate this data according to areas . but it cant be done . when i apply find option according to areas only address shown but need their phone no and other details alongwith address. plz tell me how can i do this
