Hi,
If a company is charging Rs1500 Depreciation as per accounting and Rs1200 Depreciation for tax Purpose.
there is the Tax Loss of Rs300..
I m not able to interprate that how it is loss for company ,,it is look like a gain as the company is paid lesser tax because of Charging higher Depreciation.
my query : why it is Tax loss and please interprate and also give some brief on Tax Base.

Suppose "A Co." has taken Foreign Currency working capital loan of Us$7,40,000 from a nationalised bank and same day/8th July'08 entered into a forward contract @ 44.935 with Delivery date 6th Aug'09.
Us$ rate 31st march'09 -50.53
Forward rate 31st march'09 -51.98
What will be gain/loss as at 31st march'09
Can anyone give me the deatil list of acounting entries to be passed for provision of Income tax.alongwith the advance tax paid and TDS receivable.
Whether the entries for provision of TAx are shown net of advance tax, tds receivable, provision written back etc or the advance tax,TDS is shown separate?
why trade discount is not recorded in books of accounts,pls reply

Earnings attributable to equity share holders : Rs.100000
Number of equity share o/s during the year : 1000
(face value Rs. 10 each)
Out of above equity share on 200 shares final call money @ Rs 2 is due but not received(calls in arrears)
Indirectly what i want to know that wheather shares on which calls are due but not received will be considered for EPS calculation or not ????????
Plz give ur answer in the light of AS-20 and maintion PERA NO. if possible.......
