26 June 2012 Dear sir,
One employee has joined in our company on 06-jun-12, we are giving bonus to all employes for one year in 2 installments( 6 months one amount)for this one installment will pay on nov-12 and another installment will be pay on june-13. my question is this bonus will consider whole amount for this this financial year (2012-13) or to take 10months bonus only for this year and remaining 2 months bonus for next
FY 2013-2014 ?

27 June 2012 Proportionate bonus will be considered on the basis of declaration and payment. If the bonus is declared in 2012-2013 then the entire bonus will be consider in 2012-13 though one instalment will be paid in 2013-14.

How can i take under income from salaries calculation, IF our companey declared total bonus this FY and pay half amount this FY and remaining half amount next FY.

28 June 2012 Bonus declared and paid shall only has to be considered for the purpose of TDS on salary. Bonus declared but not paid shall not be considered.
