Can a Chartered Accountants be an Auditor and Liquidator at the same time of the same Company? If No. Then what is the reference?

No.
A Chartered Accountants can not be an Auditor and Liquidator at the same time of the same Company. Reason being such position may create conflict of interest and adversely affect the independence of Statutory Auditor.
Hence such appointment is not advisable.
