Whether Ayurvedic medicines are exempt from Excise?
If Excise is applicable on Ayurvedic product then please let me know about the exact rule and sub rule under which excise is applicable.

Ayurvedic, unani, siddha and homoeopathic prepared stictly as per formula in authoritative texts are fully exempt from duty.
