IS THE INTIMATION U/S 143 (1) IS VALID OR NOT or time barred?

Intimation u/s 1439a) shall not be sent after 1 year from the end of the financial year in which the return was filed.
In respect of Return for AY 11-12, filed before 31.03.2012 intimation u/s 143(1) can be served till 31.03.2013.
So the above intimation is valid.
