For claiming 80DDB actual amount spent Rs. 75999/- but Rs. 40000/- can be claimed as deduction (he is not a senior citizen) but while we try to put this figure in the excel ITR-1 Rs. 60000/- taken for deduction in white column. Am I right? please post ur views. Its very urgent.

07 August 2011 In ITR maximum deduction amount fixed as Rs.60000 is taking. so you put the actual figure as Rs.40000
