12 January 2012 I GIVE DONATION OF RS 10000 TO A TRUST HAVING 80 G EXEMPTION. NOW WHILE FILLING FORM ITR 4 WHAT I WRITE IN AMOUNT OF DONATION RS 10000? I FILLED 80G BUT IT A DID NOT AUTOMATICALLY FILL IN
AGAIN AS I CAN AVAIL ONLY 50% SO WHAT AMOUNT SHOULD I WRITE IN 80 G

13 January 2012 you should write whole / full amount of Rs. 10000/- in the cell/ column provided for donations eligible for 50% deduction.

It depends upon the software , which you are using.

If your software does not provide such facility directly mention Deduction U/s 80G as Rs 5000/-.

Please also check that PAN No and Address of Doneee is also required to be given in the Return.
