17 October 2013 FORM 3CA IS DIFFER FROM 3CB
IT SAYS THAT AUDIT IS PERMITTABBLE IN ANY OTHER LAW
WHICH OTHER LAW???
PLZ EXPLAIN WITH EXAMPLE..
AND IF IT IS IN THE CRITERIA OF ANY OTHER/ PREVIOUS LAW, SHOULD IT ALSO IN THE CRITERIA OF RULE 44AB?????

17 October 2013 Any other law means company act, banking act, IRDA Act etc. etc........

Yes 3CA to be given only & only if audit is required under Section(Not rule) 44 AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

In simple, Instead of 3CB Form 3CA is used if audit is done in other act also.

18 October 2013 Because for diff reasons legislatures have recommended audit under various laws for diff types of enterprises.

Like for banking co under banking regulations act etc.
