28 July 2015 No. In form 16 and form 26AS amount paid or credited is shown which is not same as Income Chargeable to Tax i.e., Income from Salary.

But Amount paid or credited shown in form 16 should match with the form 26AS figure.

28 July 2015 but in one case the total income under salaries is higher in 26AS and less in form 16 ,when i file return it was showing that income credited in 26as and in form 16 had a difference under head salaries
