16 January 2010 Dear Sir/Madam
now i am doing a logistic company audit.
in there profit include freight charges(means clearing agency charge Rs 15000 includung service tax. but this party raice the invoice to customer for Rs 20000 but the company not charging service tax ) so please clarify my doubt. if any notification reguarding Service tax on freight please give me information

16 January 2010 Please check the chnage wrt cusotm house agent wherein the reimbursements can be kept out of taxable value only if no margin is involved.
No judicial confirmation on this as on date. In my view unless the ST Valuation rules challenged when margin added demands from dept. expected.
