29 August 2009 for the last 8 years PAn no of the assessee mentioned wrong in the ITR now for the A.Y.2008-09 ITO issued notice and demanded Rs,10000 penality what is the remedy availablefir current year again we have mentioned the wrong pan i.e ACTPJ3721A instead of ACTPJ7321A

29 August 2009 You can approach to ITO and make a request that wrong PAN is mentioned due to over sight and it has been copied from last year so it come wrong again n again. May be he will give me relex for penalty.
