Wrong deduction & Deposit of TDS

15 February 2010 Dear Sir(s),

We have made wrong deduction of TDS of one party & also deposited the same for the year 2008-09.TDS was wrongly deducted.

Now, that party is not accepting TDS certificate & wants payment.
We want refund of TDS wrongly deposited?

Any options?

15 February 2010 Better convince the party and make accept the TDS certificate ,becasue TDS certificate also nothing but Cash. otherwise

Make return show as TDS excess paid and can be claimed through adjusting against your income tax after getting permission from A.O but it will take long process
