wrong assessment year paid challan

hey I'm filling AY 2016-17 return and pay challan AY 2015-16 so I'm so confused pls suggest me can I what CPC notice or send to the department latter wrongly paid this challan

Abhijith, its better to give a request letter to your ward ITO about the fact with challan copy and ITR V to correct the AY in the challan.. He may correct it. Unless you may receive Notice for non-payment of tax..
