my client's grand mother has been died on fab 2011 and ay 2011-12 returned was pendding. her will has written named to my clients. her deposits are transferred to clients after fab 2012. whose named return submitted for ay 2011-12 & ay 2012-13 i.e. which pan no. mentioned in itr return (both in basic information and also. in verification column).

The return will be filed in the name of the assessee only.

For AY 12-13, income upto Feb 2012 shall be taxable in the hands of the deceased and remaining shall be taxable in the hands of the legal heir.
