24 March 2014 I am a Freedom fighters' wife.I am above 80 years. After death of my husband I receive his pension. and this pension is exempt U/s 10(17A) of Income Tax Act.
2. I receive Interest on Fixed deposits.
Whether I have to file ITR-1 or ITR-2.
Income from Salary Rs.179520.
Less: Exempted U/s.10(17A)Rs.179520.
Salary Income-NIL(o)
2. Income from Other Sources is Rs.546670.
