26 October 2011 rahul you should take coaching before 6 months of examination...because Finance act 2011 will be applicable for nov2012 examination

03 August 2025 Hey! Since your attempt is Nov 2012, here’s the scoop:

The Finance Act 2011 changes will be applicable for Nov 2012 exams, so you should start coaching well before 6 months of your exam date to cover all amendments properly.

For May 2013 exams, there might be some further amendments but mostly the changes from Finance Act 2011 will remain applicable with possible minor tweaks.

So, my suggestion:
Start your coaching for DT & IDT ASAP, ideally by April or May 2012 at the latest, so you have enough time to grasp the changes thoroughly for Nov 2012. If you plan to attempt May 2013 instead, then keep an eye on any new amendments and update your coaching accordingly.
