If there is a contract then TDS is to be deducted under sec 194 C otherwise under sec 194 J

For the Event Management Companies this will be looked in the two angles :.
1.Only if the company is professionally managing the event which are also based on contract then 194 j will be applicable.
2.Further many Event Management Companies are also doing the work of production house i.e doing the work for ready made film tape for telecaste lie :Nach Balie,Valika Vadhu etc than 194 C will be applicable.
