Dear Sir,
We stared our business and generate income form 2008 on wards but we fail to written off preliminary exps. since 31.03.2012 is fifth year, can we claim or w/o whole expenses during the year i.e. 31.03.2012.
Please give refer of any case law (if possible).

Can w/off entire amount for accounting purpose whereas for income tax purpose conditions as in section 35D(1)has to be necessarily followed meaning thereby whole amount can't be written off.
