Vat rate on toner in up and rajasthan

27 December 2013 Dear Experts,

Can you please help me by telling that VAT rate should be charged on Toner/Cartridges in state of U.P. or Rajasthan... Will it fall under 14% category or 5%.. As i see, in most of other states, it has been charged at lower rate only

27 December 2013 Thanks Mr. Jain.. as i said in my original message that all other states are charging VAT at lower rate, can we file an advance ruling in UP and RAJ to charge vat on lower rate
