VAT for Restaurants in Hyderabad

I have opened a restaurant in hyderabad. I want to know the rate of VAT on Hotel and Can I Claim Input tax credit on my purchases. Does Service tax required for Hotels.

it is 14.5%
you can avail the input on groceries /provisional stores items,
service tax is not applicabel for providing food.
