Sir, is it mandatory to mention UTN in the return. If so, how can the UTN be obtained. Has NSDL started the process of issusing UTN? What to do if our deductor issued TDS certificates with out UTN?
As per press release on 30/6/09 No.402/92/2006-MC (14 of 2009), new scheme of TDS has been deferred and old scheme of payment of TDS will be applicable. We can file ITR without UTN also.
