Dear Sir,
Providing generator on hire basis is liable to service tax if yes under which head like Pandal & shamiana, Mandap Keeper, Event management & what is its accounting code.
Please reply it is very urgent.

Now wef 1st July 12 if the service provided does not fall under negative list and does not fall in the list of services which attract reverse charge, it does not matter what service you are providing nor there are separate accounting codes now. As per Circular Number 161/12/2012-ST dated 6th July 12, for all taxable services Accounting Code to be used for Service Tax is 00441089.
