10 April 2015 there is a maintenance contract of 3 years of plantation work
service provided by individual
service receiver - body corporate (government institute)

whether RCM applicable in case of work contract of plantation work?
or is it exempt?

10 April 2015 It is agricultural work exempted from service tax.
Would plantation crops like rubber, tea or coffee be also covered under agricultural produce(4.4.4)
Yes. Such plantation crops are also covered under agricultural produce.

In this case there is a park in a government institute campus. for that a contract is given to contractor for doing plantation. In first 20 days contractor doing work of plantation and after that there is three years maintenance work

so i think this should be taxable
Please explain
