02 November 2012 Dear Sir,
In case of one of the assessee refund claimed in original return was Rs. 70000/- and this return was filed before due date. After few days I filed revised return and this time refund claim was Rs. 75000/-. And I sent both ITR V in one envelop which has been acknowledged by cpc within 120 days.
Now cpc has processed the original return and directed to state bank to issue cheque for Rs. 70000/- + Int.

I am wondering, why cpc processed the original return whereas the revised return was already in their knowledge.
Please advise me.
