24 May 2016 can shareholder get unclaimed dividend after expire of period 7 yrs in which com. transfr unclaimed dividend to investor edu. prot. fund ?

25 May 2016 The person can claim this amount from the Company only within 7 years of his transfer to Unpaid dividend account. After expiry of 7 year , not only dividend amount but also shares shall be transferred to Investor Education Protection Fund.

26 May 2016 NO, According to section 124 (6), proviso, the Claimant of shares transferred to the Investtor Education Protection Fund shall be entitled to claim the transfer of shares from IEPF in accordance with such procedure and on submission of such documents as may be prescribed.
Shareholder can sell his share freely after transfer to IEPF
