Dear Sir,
LIC Premium of my father's policy was paid by me every year. Can i claim lic premium rebate in my tax return u/s 80C because my father have no taxable income & he is not filling IT return.
Please suggest can i claim the rebate in MY IT Return.

no your father get the rebate of your Life premium. but you cannot take the deduction u/s 80C

but all other experts say that I can claim that u/s 80C....i am still confused.

No you cant claim deduction.Only your father can claim.
