13 August 2012 whats is the requirement if no TDS is deducted on paymen to transporter where PAN is available
whether to fill 15J/I or tag "T" option in TDS return entries
or both need to be done please clarify?

As per Income tax act section 194C , Tds is not required to be deducted on payments made to transporter if Pan number has been provided to deductor .transporter entries in etds return by inserting a tag "T" in remarks in 26q
