1) What is amount of transportation allowance exemption while calculating tds on salary for AY 2016-17.

Transportation allowance exemption has been increased to Rs 1600 per month.
Transport allowance exemption granted to an employee, who is blind or orthopaedically handicapped with disability of lower extremities, has been increased to Rs 3200 per month.
