Transfer of articleship

13 October 2013 Dear Sir/Madam,
I am in my 1st year of articleship and my employer had a clause while joining the firm of no transfer/industrial training during articleship which i had signed;now can i take a transfer from my current employer within the 1st year?

And if my principal does not agree for transfer,is there any provision to take a transfer without the consent of my principal?

13 October 2013 Transfer /termination of articles is permitted without any restriction during the first year of articles.

The consent of the Principal is required whether its the 1st or the last year..

Request for transfer not accompanied by consent of Principal shall not be accepted.

In case of dispute between principal and articled assistant, the matter be settled amicably among the articled assistant and the principal concerned and the Institute shall not interfere in such cases.
