25 June 2012 sir- any obligation of employee paid or rembushed by employer is taxable perquisite,like salary of gardner.
diffrence between salary of gardner & telephone bill paid or rembushed by employer ?
sir plz explain.

27 June 2012 Simply if the telephone is used for the official purpose then there will not be any perquisite and if it is used for personal purpose then it will regarded as perk in the hands of the employee.
