01 July 2011 I would like to know whether to have add service tax for TDS while paying Rent to an individual

01 July 2011 TDS is to be charged on the amount before adding Service Tax.

02 July 2011 All Contracts including AMC are charging Serivce Tax and we are deducting TDS only on the total Invoice.Service Tax are going to Government received by all. Then why only during payment of Rent, non deduction of TDS is allowed for Service Tax
