Dear sir
I have a query about tds section my client deposit a wrong section Challan in bank and challan has been approved so my question is how i refund it.

File an application with the jurisdictional AO (TDS) requesting him to make the correction.

As per latest mail from TDSCPC there is nothing problem. But quote the correct deducted section in the ETDS return when preparing the ETDS return using the same challan. Because challan may paid in unrelated section, but using that challan, quote correct section. That is important. In future be aware in choosing section, AY and minor head.
