tds revised return

24 April 2011 i want to opened my old tds return file which was sent by tin-nsdl but some how when i select import conso.tds file, it will select but not opened and also no error msg..

now what to do to open file to file revised tds return ??

pls help

24 April 2011 You must have received a the file in zip format. Have you unzipped the file?
If you try to open the file without extracting/unzipping the file will not open.

24 April 2011 When you extract there is a single file or multiple files? In case of multiple files you will have to merge with File Merger Unit.

25 April 2011 Password for extracting the content is 15 digit Provisional Receipt Number (PRN) of the statement (regular) requested.

At the time of extracting an error is showing the password is not correct. So please check the provisional receipt no.
