23 July 2026 When I am adding new partner in partnership firm in core feild of GST Amendment , I am getting message that "Exiting partner' s name does not match with PAN."

There is no Edit option for Exiting partner. Shall I delete and again add the exiting partner as per PAN records.

24 July 2026 The name mismatch error happens because the details entered do not match the CBDT PAN database. You can safely delete the exiting partner's entry from the form and re-add them, ensuring the name matches their PAN card character-for-character to clear the validation check.
