01 May 2012 TDS return filing for qtr march,2012, for month march-2012 tds deduction entries, we have to marked paid by book entry or not???? because we have get 30 days relaxation for deposit of month march-2012 tds deduction amount.

01 May 2012 Mark paid by book entry if applicable, though it will not have any effect now on. Due date of filing return is 15th May.

01 May 2012 where is it applicable?
if i am not marking paid by book entry so deptt may be raised demand for intt and deptt treat 07 apr due date instead of 30 april (30 days relaxation not consider) as earlier we have recievd notice from deptt.

01 May 2012 That rule is not applicable in this Financial Year as the due date of deposit of TDS for the entire month of March is 30th April.

So even if not marked paid by book entry the due date will be 30th April.
